Many times people have asked us “When will your church launch?” or “What is your launch date?” What is a “launch” any way? Can you put your finger on the ‘launch date’ of your journey of following Christ? I realize some people can give an exact date for the first time they ‘accepted Christ’ at a youth rally or Sunday sermon. But, actually, didn’t it all start a long time before that? Didn’t your “Journey” begin with the innermost stirrings of your heart, years before, probably when you were in the thick of sin, when you were desperate and crying out to God? Believe it or not, He hears your cries even when you are sinning… Wasn’t your “Journey” a long walk of discovering who you are, with Jesus walking alongside you all the way? Hey, have you realized that Jesus is with us even when we are dirty rotten sinners? ”For Jesus came to seek and save what was lost.” Luke 19:10
